All school-aged children, ages 5 thru Grade 11, will be promoted up to the next grade level unless directed differently by a parent. This will not affect of our nursery and early childhood kids. Promotion in nursery and early childhood classrooms is dependent upon birthdays, not grade levels.

The request has been heard! Here's the recipe for the simple
Sausage & Corn Chowder:
1 lb. fully cooked smoked sausage, sliced & quartered
1 medium onion, chopped
celery, thinly sliced
olive oil
potato, cubed
(I semi-cook potato in the microwave first)
1 - 15.25 oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
1 - 14.75 oz. can cream-style corn
1 - 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 can of water
salt & pepper
(I like lots of pepper)
1 tsp. dried basil
In soup kettle, saute the onion and celery in the oil until soft.
Add all the other ingredients.
Cook until hot - about 20-30 minutes.
I also like to add garlic to the onion & celery saute, and
one can of sliced mushrooms to the pot.

What to Expect Here at CCC Sunday Morning!
Where and when do we check our children in?
Checking your children into CCC's kids programming is quick, easy, and painless. Just walk up to any check-in station and our friendly volunteers will help you check your children into the nursery, early childhood hallway, or elementary classrooms (up through 4th grade). All your children may be checked in at the same computer terminal. However, check-in closes 15 minutes after each service begins. This is to minimize distractions during our CCC Kid's programming, and to give your child the focused, undivided attention they deserve!
Check-in Station Times of Operation:
9:15 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. / 10:45 - 11:15 a.m.
New families can check in at the "New Family Child Check-in" station located in the Atrium.
What ages can attend CCC Kids?
CCC Kids is for children from birth thru 4th grade. Caterpillars classroom is for our infants; Butterflies classroom are for those children who are walking up to 2 years olds. "Under the Canopy" is for ages 2 thru Pre-K (Fireflies = 2's in diapers; Ladybugs = potty-trained 2's; Bumblebees = 3 year olds; Grasshoppers = 4 year olds; Pre-K = those starting kinder in the fall). Elevate is for Kindergarten-4th graders.
What curriculum is used in the CCC Kids classes?
The curriculum used in our preschool classes (ages 2-PreK) is called My First Look (To find out more about My First Look, click here.). It teaches 3 basic ideas: God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. In Elevate, we use a rotating curriculum. Presently the children are at Dr. Tomorrow's Robot Repair Shop. (To find out more about ELEVATE, click here.).
How secure are our CCC Kids classrooms?
We take security very seriously at Central Community Church. We use computer based check-in procedures and we require a high-level of security in the classrooms, all for the safety of your child. Be sure to keep your security tag to ensure you are able to pick up your child(ren) in a quick, orderly fashion. (No tag = pull out the Driver's License!)
What is your goal for CCC Kids Ministry?
The goal in CCC Kids Ministry is to provide a loving and exciting environment where children can learn about God and His love using the Bible as our base. We believe that it is our job to partner with parents as they seek to raise their children to know who God is and how much He loves each of us.
How can I become a part of the CCC Kids Ministry Volunteer Team?
Pick up a volunteer packet from either check-in station, fill it out completely, turn it back in to the church and we'll meet to discuss where you want to be and what God is leading you to do. Or e-mail KIDS Ministry: angie.hand@centralcommunity.org.
